Hello! My name is Christian (class of '21)! I’m a sax player from New Jersey double majoring in Sociology and Performing & Media Arts. I’m also this year’s drum major for the Big Red Marching Band! This means I get to run auditions, rehearsals, and any other fun events we have throughout the year. Feel free to email me at email@example.com! Now here are some important things Marissa and I would like you to know about the BRMB:
- We encourage EVERYONE to audition! There is no musical or marching experience necessary. Whether you were the drum major of your high school marching band or never touched an instrument in your life, we gladly welcome you to our Big Red Family!
- The time commitment is whatever you want to make it! Once you join you are by no means obligated to come to everything. We understand Cornell provides a challenging workload, so come to rehearsals whenever you can. It’s always a fun way to destress!
- Missed the first couple of rehearsals, or the whole first semester? Don’t worry, it’s never too late to join!
- We encourage diversity and welcome anyone to join! We hope to see you soon :)
